The Best of THON 2024 Dare Boards

While scrolling through social media over the past few weeks, we’re sure you came across “dare boards” benefitting THON posted by Greek life, student orgs, or THON committees.

These bingo boards or thermometers, typically posted on Instagram and Snapchat stories, consists of dares with a corresponding donation price. So, if you pay the amount to their DonorDrive, that person or someone within the org completes that dare.

We did some sleuthing to find the most insane and unique dares, and here are the best THON 2024 donation dares:

$12,000: All Chairs Polar Plunge

This one will sure get the heart rate going.

$18,000: Member Gets Shot By Paintball Guns

Getting shot by one paint gun already sounds pretty painful, but by multiple? That’s scary. But hey, it’s all FTK.

$24,000: Member Gets His Chest Waxed

Once again, sounds pretty painful, but at least it’s for a good cause.

$30,000: Member Stands In Bar Lines Without Going Inside

This is just insane, and I would lose my mind of boredom. Good luck, soldier.

$30,000: Chairs Spend 12 Hours Handcuffed

OK, this sounds really fun actually. I would do this in a heartbeat for the meme.

$42,000: Members Spend Two Hours On The Bloop

My personal hell. Imagine seeing someone you know and they ask when your stop is and your answer is, “I’m actually staying on for another hour.” At least the members can keep each other company. Maybe bring UNO or a deck of cards to pass the time.

$48,000: Two Members Run A Milk Mile

Given how repulsive this sounds, the donation price is definitely evenly matched.

$50,000: Two Members Get A Tattoo Of Donor’s Choice

“FTK,” a blue diamond, or a yellow ribbon would look pretty sick as a tattoo.

$60,000: Chairs Spend 24 Hours In The HUB

This is either the best idea ever or the worst. Have you ever tried living in the library for 24 hours, though? Didn’t think so.
