Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Jumps Two Spots in USILA Coaches Poll

Penn State men’s lacrosse was ranked number No. 12 in the latest USILA Coaches poll and No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse poll on Monday. The Nittany Lions improved two places in the USILA poll from a No. 14 ranking last week.

In the past week, the Nittany Lions defeated Stony Brook to improve their record to 2-1. After a slip-up to Colgate in the season’s opening game, Penn State has won two in a row. Ranked No. 4 to start the season, the Nittany Lions are ranked ahead of No. 20 Colgate and votes-receiving Vilanova, which Penn State defeated in the second game of the season.

Penn State will look to continue its climb of the rankings against Navy on Saturday, February 24, in Annapolis, Maryland. The opening faceoff is set for noon.
