Eli Manning’s ‘Chad Powers’ Skit To Be Adapted Into Hulu Comedy Series

Think fast, run fast, Chad gets a TV show.

Hulu is gearing up to produce a comedy series starring Glen Powell as Chad Powers, inspired by an episode of Eli Manning’s “Eli’s Places” docuseries in which the two-time Super Bowl champion went undercover as a walk-on prospect at Penn State.

The series is set to be written and created by “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Anyone But You” star Powell alongside writer and producer Michael Waldron, known for roles with “Rick and Morty” and several Marvel series.

“I hope Glen is working on his QB skills, I saw him throw a football in Maverick…he has some work to do!!” Manning said on Twitter Thursday.

Peyton Manning’s entertainment company Omaha Productions is leading the efforts alongside Powell, Waldron, Manning, NFL Films, and ESPN.

“The love for Chad Powers has surprised me in spectacular ways,” Manning said in a statement acquired by The Athletic. “I played 16 years in the NFL, but now when I’m in a restaurant or walking through an airport, it’s not uncommon for fans to scream, ‘Hey Chad!'”

The release date for the series has yet to be announced.
