Onward State Presents: Best ‘State College Bands & DJs’ Bracket: Final Four

This is March April.

While America roots for DJ Burns and NC State to take down No. 1-seeded Zach Edey and Co. in the NCAA Tournament Final Four, we’re fired up for a few DJs of our own. Four bands remain in the quest to become Onward State’s bracket champion after the toughest round yet.

Let’s take a look at each of our regional champions and their Final Four competitors.

Final Four

In a battle that came down to three votes, No. 2 Anchor&Arrow clinched the Blue & White Region over No. 5 JR Mangan Band. JR and Veronica’s ride ended just short of the championship, but the five-seed’s supporters shined until the very end.

In the Dear Old State Region, No. 1 Adam and the Armadillos emerged victorious over No. 2 Go Go Gadjet. In a similar contest, Adam’s crew outlasted Go Go Gadjet by just 20 votes. Now, the A & A bands will duke it out in the Final Four for a seat in the championship.

In the Nittany Lion Region, the No. 4 Skoal Brothers won by an unprecedented single vote over Ted and the HiFis. This is proof voting matters, folks.

No. 5 Velveeta pulled away from the No. 2 Corner Brothers in the only landslide challenge. Velveeta clinched the Elite Eight victory with 69.5% of the vote to move on to battle against the Skoal Brothers in the Final Four.

Happy voting!
