SPA To Host Impractical Joker Sal Vulcano For Stand-Up Comedy Show

“Prepare for something amazing,” folks.

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host Impractical Joker Sal Vulcano for a free stand-up comedy set at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Vulcano is best known for his time on hidden-camera comedy “Impractical Jokers” with Murr, Q, and Joe. The crew dares the other cast members to compete in jokes, and the cast member with the most “thumbs downs” for their performances undergoes a punishment.

Vulcano is the Impractical Joker with the “most punishments” since the show’s inception in 2011.

The Staten Island, New York, native also starred in the game show “The Misery Index” on TBS, which featured the Impractical Jokers competing against each other by rating their amusing, real-life events on a scale of one to 100.

Vulcano established the “No Presh Network” in 2020 where folks can listen to his podcasts “Taste Buds” and “Hey Babe!”

Tickets for Vulcano’s stand-up show will be released on 3 p.m. on Friday, April 12, on OrgCentral. Tickets are free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee.
