Former Penn State Quarterback Christian Veilleux Enters The Transfer Portal

Former Penn State quarterback and now former Pitt quarterback Christian Veilleux entered the transfer portal, he announced Tuesday morning.

Veilleux was a former three-star quarterback from Potomac, Maryland, and was part of Penn State’s 2021 recruiting class. Veilleux was primarily a backup with the Nittany Lions, and he started one game against Rutgers as a true freshman. That next season, Drew Allar and Beau Pribula enrolled at Penn State and Allar quickly took over as the backup for Sean Clifford.

After two years as a Nittany Lion, Veilleux transferred to Pitt to compete for the starting job. He started five games for the Panthers last season and struggled. Veilleux had seven touchdowns and eight interceptions and completed 51% of his passes.

After one season with the Panthers, the redshirt junior is in the portal for the second time in his collegiate career and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
