[Photo Story] Olympic Trials Wrestling Fan Fest

As U.S. Olympic Trials took place in the Bryce Jordan Center over the weekend, wrestling fans had the opportunity to attend a free fan fest on Friday and Saturday across the street at Pegula Ice Arena.

The fan fest proved to be a great opportunity for wrestling fans to meet with friends, grab a bite to eat, and more. Fans got to check out dozens of wrestling exhibits and merchandise.

The lines were packed and filled with wrestling fans waiting to get autographs.

Olympic medalist, former Penn State three-time national champion, Hodge Trophy winner, and undefeated MMA star Bo Nickal met with fans and signed autographs alongside Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick.

USA wrestling head freestyle coach Bill Zadick interviewed Nickal and McCormick, who recently ran a campaign ad about the impact of Pennsylvania wrestling and how wrestling impacted their lives.

Toward the end of the event, FloWrestling hosted its podcast live for fans to watch.

Ultimately, three members of the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club clinched seats on the U.S. Olympic Team to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Aaron Brooks, Kyle Dake, and Kyle Snyder will each represent the red, white, and blue in Paris over the summer.
