Former Penn State Football Star Micah Parsons Signs Partnership With Adidas

Former Penn State football linebacker Micah Parsons has signed a multi-year partnership with Adidas, the company announced Tuesday in a press release.

“Micah is a perfect addition to join the three stripes. His passion for greatness – both on and off the field – positions him to be one of the biggest stars in the game, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join the adidas family,” adidas Vice President of Sports Marketing Chris McGuire said in a press release.

According to the release, Parsons will wear select Adidas apparel and footwear during games. He’ll also participate in brand marketing campaigns.

The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, native had 191 total tackles and 6.5 sacks over two seasons of action in Happy Valley in 2018 and 2019. After not playing in the 2020 season, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Parsons has impressed in Dallas so far. He was named the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and has been in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation in each of his three seasons. He had a career-high 14 sacks and 64 total tackles last season.
