[Photo Story] Arts Fest 2024

Who doesn’t love Arts Fest?

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, better known as “Arts Fest,” returned to State College from Wednesday, July 10, to Sunday, July 14. The event brought together Penn State students, alumni, and art enthusiasts to enjoy a hot weekend in Happy Valley.

Photography is a form of art, so our visual staff made their way to the festival to use their artistic abilities to capture all the beauty and excitement. Let’s take a look back at the event through some of our favorite photos.

As always, Allen Street was the heart of the event, with live music and water features.

Further up Allen Street, vendors sold food as visitors admired the festival’s iconic banners.

Artists from all over the country gathered to showcase art from every medium. Photographers, sculptors, painters, and artisans of all kinds sold their proud work.

Attendees were able to get up close and personal with the art, appreciating its beauty.

On campus, Penn State’s Berkey Creamery had a tent set up to help folks beat the heat with some delicious ice cream.

Campus had its fair share of art vendors as well.

No matter where you looked, there was beautiful art.
