Penn State Athletics Announces Digital Services Partnership With WMT

Penn State Athletics has formed a partnership with WMT Digital, it announced Wednesday.

The first project of this partnership is a new version of GoPSUsports.com, which launched earlier this morning. The website features a modernized design and a user interface that’s easier to navigate, especially on mobile devices.

“The team at WMT has worked with our team to develop our website and redesign our mobile app making it easier for our fans to easily access schedules, rosters, tickets, live audio, and video all at their fingertips,” Senior Associate AD for Strategic Communications, Kris Petersen said in a statement. “WMT is at the cutting edge of technology and is becoming a leader in college athletics and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them.”

The WMT partnership comes together with Penn State’s 15-year Multimedia Rights Agreement with Playfly Sports Properties that was announced earlier this year. WMT is a tech firm that works with athletic programs to impact fan engagement, recruiting, ticket sales, fundraising, and more.

GoPSUSports.com and Penn State Athletics’ mobile app will continue to roll out additional features as the school progresses toward the start of the 2024-25 school year and athletic seasons.
