Saquon Barkley & Micah Parsons Named To 2024 NFL Top 100 Players List

Former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons were named to the Top 100 Players of 2024 list on Friday.

Barkley came in at No. 86 while Parsons landed at No. 17.

Wearing the blue and white from 2015-2017, Barkley was Penn State’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns during a decorated college career that included a Fiesta Bowl win and a Big Ten Championship.

Barkley was drafted second overall by the New York Giants in the 2018 NFL Draft, where he stayed until being traded to the Eagles before the 2024 season. With the Giants, Barkley rushed for 5,211 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Parsons came to Penn State in 2018 and made an impact fast in his true freshman season with a team-best 83 tackles. In 2019, Parsons finished with 109 tackles before opting out of the 2020 season and deciding to focus on the 2021 NFL Draft.

After being drafted 12th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, Parsons is entering his fourth year with the team. In the NFL, Parsons has racked up 142 solo tackles and 40.5 sacks.
