Penn State Wrestling To Host American University In February 2025

American University released its 2024-25 wrestling schedule, showing that it will be coming to Penn State on Friday, February 21, to face the Nittany Lions in a dual meet. The Eagles’ head coach, Jason Borrelli, also celebrated the announcement on Twitter a few months prior.

This will be the third time these universities have faced each other, with Penn State winning both matchups in 2017 and 2020.

The dual will take place toward the end of the Nittany Lions’ season. Just under a month after the American dual, Big Ten Championships will take place in early March while the NCAA Championships will come at the end of the month in Philadelphia.

The reigning national champion Nittany Lions have yet to announce their 2024-25 schedule. The team will be looking to win four straight NCAA titles for the third time in school history.
