Daequan Hardy Released By Buffalo Bills

Former Penn State cornerback Daequan Hardy has been released by the Buffalo Bills, the team announced on Tuesday.

Hardy first came to Penn State in 2019 as a three-star and was ranked the No. 17 prospect in Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports.

In his redshirt senior season last year, Hardy made four starts at cornerback and recorded 22 tackles and two interceptions. The speedy cornerback also took over as the punt returner midway through last season and returned two punts for touchdowns in the game against UMass.

After declaring for the NFL Draft in December, Hardy was drafted No. 219 overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2024 NFL Draft. Hardy was released after making six total tackles during the preseason.
