Kalen King Released By Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have released former Penn State cornerback Kalen King, the team announced Tuesday.

King played three seasons at Penn State, totaling 23 starts in 38 games, and recorded 82 total tackles, 5.5 for a loss, three interceptions, 28 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles as a Nittany Lion.

King skipped his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft and was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round. King recorded nine tackles and a forced fumble in the preseason.
