Penn State Hoops Releases 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

Penn State men’s basketball released its 2024-25 non-conference schedule Thursday morning. The slate has 11 matchups, kicking off against Binghamton on November 4 and ending against Penn on December 29.

The Nittany Lions begin play against Binghampton at the Bryce Jordan Center. They face UMBC four days later on November 8, also in Happy Valley. The three-game homestand comes to an end against Saint Francis on November 12.

Then, Penn State faces Virginia Tech as part of the Hall Of Fame Series on November 15 in Baltimore. Head coach Mike Rhoades’ team follows that up with three matchups in the Sunshine Slam, facing Purdue-Fort Wayne on November 20 at the Bryce Jordan Center before games against Fordham and either Clemson or San Francisco on November 25 and 26 in Daytona Beach, Florida, respectively.

Penn State returns home to face Buffalo on December 1 and Coppin State on December 14. The Nittany Lions then face Drexel on December 21 in Philadelphia, before ending the regular season non-conference schedule against Penn on December 29 at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Penn State has not yet released its Big Ten schedule for the upcoming season, though its conference opponents have been released. It is head coach Mike Rhoades’ second year at the helm.
