Penn State Football Falls To No. 10 In AP Poll

Penn State football was ranked at No. 10 in the latest AP Poll, the Associated Press released Sunday. With the Nittany Lions having its first bye week of the season and no upsets in the top 10, their rank suffered.

Miami and Penn State flipped in the poll, as the Hurricanes’ stretch of dominating wins, including its 62-0 route over Ball State Saturday, propelled them past the Nittany Lions.

There were also only two close calls in the top 10. Georgia edged Kentucky in its 13-12 victory and Missouri beat then-ranked Boston College 27-21.

Penn State will return to Beaver Stadium to take on Kent State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
