Four-Star Forward Xavier Lieb Commits To Penn State Men’s Hockey

Four-star forward Xavier Lieb has committed to Penn State men’s hockey, he announced Monday.

Lieb, a 16-year-old standing at 5’9″ and 157 pounds, was drafted by the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the second round of the 2024 USHL draft following his 2023 season, in which he totaled 71 points.

Last season, Lieb put up 78 points with 24 goals and 54 assists over the course of 61 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite 15U team.

Lieb played one season with Bishop McCort High School and has played for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite teams for the past three seasons. He will suit up with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite 16U team in the 2024-25 season, per Elite Prospects.
