Aiden Fink Named Preseason All-Big Ten Second Team

Penn State men’s hockey forward Aiden Fink was named to the preseason All-Big Ten second team, the conference announced Friday afternoon.

During his freshman season, Fink earned multiple accolades. He was named a Big Ten Freshman of the Year finalist and was voted into the Big Ten Hockey All-Freshman Team. Nationally, he was a Hobey Baker Award nominee and National Freshman of the Year nominee.

During the 2023-24 season, the Nashville Predators draft pick led the team with 34 points in 34 games. He scored a team-best 15 goals while adding 19 assists. Fink’s 34 points were the third-most in a single season by a Nittany Lion rookie, while his 15 goals and 19 assists were good for fifth and tied second, respectively.

Fink and the rest of the Nittany Lions open their season in Alaska against Alaska Fairbanks on Friday, October 5.
