Dom DeLuca & Cam Wallace Out Against Illinois

Penn State football linebacker Dom DeLuca and running back Cam Wallace are listed as out, per the team’s availability report.

DeLuca was injured in the first half against Kent State and did not return to the game. On Wednesday, James Franklin had no update on DeLuca’s status.

Franklin also said after practice Wednesday freshman Anthony Speca is expected to play if DeLuca is ruled out. Speca was a four-star linebacker out of Central Catholic in Pittsburgh and enrolled in May.

Running back Cam Wallace is also listed as out on the availability report. The redshirt freshman was injured in the fourth quarter against the Golden Flashes and left the game on a cart.

Jaxon Smolik, K.J. Winston, and Andrew Rappleyea are still listed as out with their long-term injuries.
