Nick Singleton Listed As Questionable Against UCLA

Penn State football running back Nick Singleton was listed as questionable and linebacker Dom DeLuca wasn’t on the report after missing last week’s game against Illinois, according to the team’s availability report.

Singleton was noticeably absent from practice Wednesday, but James Franklin said after practice there was nothing he could share about Singleton’s availability “at this stage.”

DeLuca was injured against Kent State and did not return to the game. Dakaari Nelson filled DeLuca’s role aginst the Fighting Illini.

Kaden Saunders is out, per the report. Franklin mentioned Saunders has been dealing with a lingering injury from fall camp. Saunders has been limited offensively but is the team’s primary punt returner.

Sal Wormley and Jalen Kimber were not listed on the availability report either. Both were injured against Illinois, but Franklin said Monday he expected to have both healthy soon.
