Penn State Football 6.5-Point Favorite Over Wisconsin

Another bye week is over, folks. It’s time for Penn State football to hit the road again.

For the Nittany Lions’ upcoming matchup against the Badgers, DraftKings has set a line of 6.5 points in favor of Penn State, including an over/under set at a familiar 48 points. Looking at the money line, Penn State is a -238 favorite, making Wisconsin a +195 underdog.

In the last 10 matchups of Penn State and Wisconsin, the Nittany Lions led with a comfortable 8-2 record overall and against the spread, with their last loss dating back to 2011, according to OddsShark. In the most recent contest, Penn State defeated Wisconsin 16-10 in 2021.

In their last contest, the Nittany Lions defeated USC in an overtime thriller, making the blue and white 2-0 against new Big Ten teams. The back-and-forth game prevented Penn State from covering the opening 4.5-point spread, however the offensive battle aided the contest into easily hitting the over by a margin of 15 points. This made Penn State 2-4 against the spread and 3-3 against the over/under at the middle point of the season.
