College GameDay Returning To Happy Valley For Penn State-Ohio State

It’s finally coming home, everyone.

ESPN announced Sunday morning that College GameDay, its signature college football morning show, will air live from the Bryce Jordan Center ahead of Penn State football’s November 2 matchup against Ohio State.

This marks College GameDay’s first trip to Happy Valley in three years. The show was last in town for Penn State’s 28-20 victory over Auburn in the 2021 White Out. It was the fifth consecutive year the show aired from Penn State.

Next weekend will mark Penn State’s 25th overall appearance on the show and the 11th time hosting. Since the last visit to Happy Valley, the show was in Columbus ahead of the Nittany Lions’ 20-12 loss to Ohio State last season and in Pasadena before they defeated Utah 35-21 in the 2023 Rose Bowl.

The crew aired from Old Main Lawn last time and has also done so from HUB Lawn and Beaver Stadium. The show will also have to compete with the less-popular Big Noon Kickoff from FOX. FOX’s show will air from Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center, while College GameDay will host at Gate C.

The show begins at 9 a.m. and airs until 11:30 a.m. Penn State kicks off against Ohio State at noon, and the game will be televised on FOX.
