Penn State football remained No. 3 in the AP Poll for the third straight week after beating Wisconsin 28-13 on Saturday night.

Oregon remained No. 1 after its 38-9 dismantling of Illinois and Georgia stayed No. 2 after being on a bye.

As for the rest of the top 10, Ohio State remained No. 4 and Texas dropped to No. 6 after narrow victories. Miami jumped one spot to No. 5 in its 36-14 win over Florida State, and LSU fell out of the top 10 after losing 38-23 to then-No. 14 Texas A&M.
