Week nine of the college football season saw Penn State football pull out an impressive 28-13 win over Wisconsin in Camp Randall Stadium. While the Nittany Lions kept their undefeated season alive, many former Penn State football players were showcasing their talents across the country.

Let’s check in on how those players performed over the weekend.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Auburn

Wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith bounced back from a tough week with four catches, 53 yards, and one touchdown in Auburn’s 24-10 win over Kentucky. Lambert-Smith has seven touchdowns this season, almost doubling his previous season-high of four.

King Mack, Alabama

Defensive back King Mack recorded two total tackles in Alabama’s 34-21 win over Mizzou. This marked the third consecutive game Mack recorded two tackles.

London Montgomery, East Carolina

Running back London Montgomery had 12 rushes for 55 yards in East Carolina’s 56-34 blowout win over Temple. Montgomery’s 12 carries marks his most rushing single-game rushing attempts since East Carolina’s 42-3 win over Norfolk State.

Alex Bacchetta, Rice

Punter Alex Bacchetta recorded nine punts for 333 yards with one falling inside the 20-yard line in Rice’s 17-10 loss to UConn. This marks Bacchetta’s second game of the season with over 300 punt yards.

Dante Cephas, Kansas State

Wide receiver Dante Cephas caught two passes for 21 yards in Kansas State’s close 29-27 victory over Kansas. Cephas’ performance on Saturday marked his season-high for receiving yards.
