Penn State Football Set As 3.5-Point Underdog Against Ohio State

As if the noon kickoff wasn’t enough, DraftKings Sportsbook set the Nittany Lions as an underdog for the first time this season.

Ahead of Penn State football’s battle with Ohio State on Saturday in Beaver Stadium, DraftKings has the line for the top-five matchup set at -3.5 points in favor of the Buckeyes with an over/under set at 47 points — two points fewer than Penn State’s last two matchups. The money line for the game is also set at -185 for Ohio State, making the blue and white a +154 underdog.

In the last 10 games between the two teams, Ohio State leads with a 9-1 overall record. However, Penn State has tended to keep the games close, as it holds a 7-3 record against the spread, according to OddsShark. The last time Penn State defeated Ohio State was in 2016 when Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley bested J.T. Barrett and the Buckeyes 24-21.

Penn State is 3-4 against the spread and 2-5 playing toward the over/under this season.
