Former Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce To Attend Penn State-Ohio State Game

Former Philadelphia Eagles center and Cincinnati football alumnus Jason Kelce announced he’ll attend Penn State’s Saturday duel with Ohio State on his podcast New Heights.

Kelce, beloved by Eagles fans and NFL supporters alike, will visit State College for the first time for the game. Though he didn’t suggest which team the Cleveland Heights, Ohio, native would root for, he was clear in his excitement to be in Happy Valley.

“I’m officially going to Happy Valley,” Kelce said on the podcast. “That’s right, Penn State. This week… I’m excited about this for multiple reasons.”

Kelce frequents Eagles tailgates following his retirement from football at the end of the 2023-24 season and would be quite the addition to the Penn State tailgating scene should he make his way into the lots.

Kelce hosts the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and fellow Cincinnati graduate.

“That’s your kind of college,” Travis Kelce said. “You’d like that place.”

Along with Kelce, the Penn State gameday experience will be full of people traveling in for the game including the crews at College Gameday and Big Noon Kickoff, Josh Pate’s “Whole New Saturday Tour,” and Barstool’s Student Section of the Year competition. Despite reports of former President Donald Trump attending the game, a university spokesperson told Onward State he will not be present on Saturday.
