Penn State Women’s Volleyball Holds Steady At No. 4 In AVCA Poll

Penn State women’s volleyball remained at No. 4 in the latest AVCA Poll released on Monday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions took down Big Ten foes Illinois and Maryland this past week, bouncing back after their first loss since September to Wisconsin on November 9. The win against the Terrapins was Penn State’s 15th Big Ten win of the season.

The only Big Ten team ahead of Penn State in the poll is Nebraska, who the Nittany Lions play against at home on Friday, November 29, in their regular season game. The clash will likely be instrumental in determining seeding for the NCAA Tournament, which starts on December 5.

Penn State returns to Rec Hall to face Purdue at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 21. Folks can watch on the Big Ten Network.
