Your Official Penn State-Minnesota Drinking Game

Time flies when you are having fun. Unfortunately, the college football season is almost over.

As Penn State takes on Minnesota this weekend in its second-to-last regular-season game, we are thankful for the season and the moments it has already produced and will continue to produce.

In honor of the giving thanks season, pour a little of your drink out to get started for those unfortunate enough to root for anyone who isn’t Penn State. Without further ado, here is your official drinking game for the weekend.

  • Anytime you think about 2019, take a sip. This is a completely different team with different ambitions. Surely, that means a better outcome?
  • If Penn State isn’t one of the games picked on College GameDay, take a shot. Why do they hate us?
  • If someone mentions the College Football Playoff, take a swig of whatever is in your hand. We have a long way to go. 1-0.
  • Every time Penn State scores, take a sip. Hopefully, you will take as many as you did last week.
  • Take a swig if Tyler Warren passes or runs the ball. He’s still our Heisman pick.
  • Take a shot if one of the exciting freshmen makes a play. Let’s go, rooks!
  • If Drew Allar throws a pick, take a shot. No explanation is needed.
  • If one of the teams around Penn State in the rankings loses, finish your drink. We will take all the help we can get.
  • If one of the receivers catches a touchdown, open a fireball shooter and down it. We won’t make you do it that often, but for a special occasion like that, it’s mandatory.
  • If it starts to rain or snow, take a sip. Football weather.
  • Take a shot if Penn State is losing at halftime. Uh oh.
  • If Allar runs it for a first down, take a sip. He cut down on carbs for a reason, folks.
  • If Penn State wins, take a shot and crack open a new beer. We’ve got a lot of good football ahead of us.
  • If Penn State loses, you choose. We’re not sure any amount of alcohol would fix the sadness, though.

As always, stay safe this game day, and most importantly have fun.
