Camryn Hannah Selected By Vegas Thrill In First Round Of Pro Volleyball Federation Draft

Penn State volleyball outside hitter Camryn Hannah was selected by the Vegas Thrill with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 Pro Volleyball Federation draft Monday afternoon.

Hannah, a graduate student in her second year with the Nittany Lions, has 363 kills this season, the second-most on the team.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in three years at Clemson, Hannah transferred to Penn State and averaged almost three kills per set as a senior.

The Pro Volleyball Federation, an eight-team league, will begin its second season in January 2025. In the league’s inaugural year, the Thrill finished the season with an 8-16 record.

Prior to becoming a professional, Hannah will continue to compete with Penn State for the remainder of the season. The blue and white’s next game is on at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, at Rutgers.
