Mitchell Mesenbrink Wins Big Ten Wrestler Of The Week

After a dominant showing in Sunday’s Army Black Knight Invitational, Penn State wrestler Mitchell Mesenbrink was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Week.

Mesenbrink went 4-0 at the Black Knight Invitational, winning by tech fall in each match by a total margin of 72-10. The 165-pound wrestler is 5-0 to start his 2024-25 campaign after finishing last season as an All-American, a Big Ten champion, and Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

Mesenbrink and the rest of Penn State wrestling will next be in action on Sunday, December 8, when they travel to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to take on Lehigh at 2 p.m.
