Penn State Baseball Releases Full 2025 Schedule

Penn State baseball released its full 2025 schedule on Friday morning. The Nittany Lions will play 26 games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and 10 series against Big Ten opponents. They will play 26 non-conference games.

Penn State will open its season in Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Challenge, where the Nittany Lions will face Missouri, Stetson, and UConn from February 14 to 16. The Nittany Lions return to the lower 48 with an away series at Longwood and an away matchup at Richmond to round out February.

March opens up with two more away matchups as Penn State visits VCU and William & Mary on March 1 and March 2, respectively. The Nittany Lions arrive at home for their first Big Ten series against Indiana on March 7 to 9. They hit the road again for two games at Georgetown and a three-game set at Northwestern before getting a long homestand.

Penn State will be at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park from March 18 to 26, where it will face St. Bonaventure, Lafayette, Michigan State, Pitt, and Bucknell. March ends with an away series at Michigan.

The Nittany Lions also have a home-dominated April, where they will play 11 games at home against Bucknell, FDU, USC, Delaware, Purdue, West Virginia, and Rider. They will travel to battle Minnesota and West Virginia in early April and UCLA from April 25 to 27.

Lastly, Penn State opens May with two Big Ten series, one at home and one away. It will stay put to play Maryland from May 2 to 4 and travel eastward to face Rutgers from May 9 to 11. Penn State closes its season with a game against Pitt and three games against Xavier. The Friday, May 16, game against Xavier will take place at FNB Field, home of the Double-A Harrisburg Senators.

After reaching the Big Ten tournament final last year as the No. 8 seed, Mike Gambino’s squad hopes to reach the big stage again. The Big Ten tournament is slated for May 19 to 24, and NCAA play starts at the end of May and runs through June 23.
