Ohio State Transfer Emmi Sellman Commits To Penn State Women’s Volleyball
Emmi Sellman, a former Ohio State women’s volleyball player, announced her transfer commitment to Penn State via Instagram Monday afternoon.
Sellman, a 6’4″ outside hitter, averaged 2.87 kills per set in her freshman campaign, including a season-high 27-kill outing against the Nittany Lions in October.
After missing the non-conference portion of the season due to injury, the Burtonsville, Maryland, native was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.
In 20 matches played, Sellman reached double-digit kills on nine occasions and had 128 total digs.
Sellman became the first player in this recruiting cycle to transfer to Penn State, while head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley also signed five incoming freshmen.
Prior to Sellman joining the program, the Nittany Lions are set to face Nebraska in a clash of No. 1 seeds in the semifinals Thursday night.
