Penn State Hoops Receives Eight Points In AP Poll

Penn State men’s basketball is still getting recognition.

The Nittany Lions received eight points in the most recent AP Poll, which was released Monday.

In last week’s poll, Penn State received 90 points but, after an 80-76 loss to Rutgers, dropped in the ratings. Additionally, Penn State’s top two opponents also dropped in the poll, as Purdue went from No. 11 to No. 16, and Clemson dropped nine spots to No. 25.

The Big Ten has five teams ranked in the top 25, while Penn State is one of five teams receiving votes.

The next game for the blue and white is set for noon on Saturday, December 21, against Drexel at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
