Abdul Carter & Tyler Warren Named To FWAA All-American First Team

Penn State football defensive end Abdul Carter and tight end Tyler Warren were voted Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) All-Americans, as announced Tuesday. Both Carter and Warren earned first-team honors.

For Carter, this was his fourth All-American accolade after he also received first-team honors from the Walter Camp Foundation, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), and the AP.

For Warren, this was his first, first-team All-American team selection this year as he was named to the second team by the AFCA, the AP, and the Walter Camp Foundation earlier this week.

Carter and Warren are Penn State’s 103rd and 104th All-Americans.

Penn State football is focused on its next game against SMU in the first round of the College Football Playoff at noon on Saturday, December 21, in Beaver Stadium.
