Happy New Year, folks.

The Nittany Lions and Fighting Irish have squared off against each other a total of 19 times in their respective histories, with an even 9-9 split, including one 0-0 tie. The first matchup dates back to 1913 and the most recent matchup took place in 2007, a 31-10 victory for Penn State.

Penn State is 8-7 against the spread and 6-9 against the over/under this season.
