Former Penn State Wide Receiver Dante Cephas Declares For NFL Draft

Former Penn State football wide receiver Dante Cephas has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, he announced on Monday night.

Cephas played for the Nittany Lions during the 2023 season after he spent four years at Kent State. In Cephas’ lone year in Happy Valley, he caught 22 passes for 246 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns came against Maryland. He was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list before the season but struggled with the rest of Penn State’s receiving corps.

The Pittsburgh native transferred from Penn State to Kansas State for the 2024 season, where he had 15 receptions and 184 receiving yards in 13 games. During his time at Kent State, Cephas totaled 145 catches for 2,139 yards and 12 touchdowns, and was named First Team All-MAC in 2021 and 2022.
