Penn State Hoops Bumped Out Of Latest AP Poll

So much for the Champs Downtown special.

Penn State men’s basketball earned no votes in the latest AP Poll, released Monday. The drop came after the Nittany Lions went 1-1, beating Northwestern at home on Thursday before losing to Indiana at The Palestra on Sunday afternoon.

So far, the team is 12-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play with all three losses coming away from the Bryce Jordan Center.

The Nittany Lions will have a chance to make a statement in the coming week as their next two games are against ranked conference opponents. On Wednesday night, the team travels to Illinois to face the No. 22 ranked Fighting Illini before returning to the Bryce Jordan Center to face No. 9 Oregon on Sunday afternoon.
