Alumni Nominations For Penn State’s Board Of Trustees To Open January 21

Alumni nominations for Penn State’s Board of Trustees will open on January 21 and conclude on February 4. The ballot to suggest a candidate will be automatically emailed at 9 a.m. on January 21 to all alumni, and can also be accessed at PennStateVotes.com.

There are a total of nine alumni-elected trustees on the board with three seats up for election.

Eligible voters for the election include all Penn State graduates and former students who have passed at least one semester or two terms of work at the university. Participation is open to former students beginning the year after their Penn State departure. Membership of the Penn State Alumni Association is not necessary to take part in the voting process.

The ballot will be sent from [email protected], and alumni are encouraged to check their spam or junk folders for the email. If the web link or email cannot be accessed, alumni can contact YesElections at 855-224-0832.

Candidates who receive at least 50 nominations, submit all required paperwork, and meet all qualifications, will be placed on the election ballot which will be distributed in late April. The three candidates who receive the highest number of votes will be elected to the Board of Trustees.

Nominations for candidacy can be submitted until 5 p.m. on February 4.
