Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Attackman Matt Traynor Named To USILA Team Of The Week

Penn State men’s lacrosse attackman Matt Traynor was named to the USILA Team of the Week, the organization announced on Wednesday.

Traynor started the season with a bang, recording five goals and two assists in a 14-9 season opener against Colgate. This is only the second time the attackman has hit the seven-point mark in his career. Traynor is now only one point off the 100-point mark.

This is the third time Traynor has made the USILA Team of the Week in his career, and the first time in 2025.

Traynor and Penn State face Villanova next in their first away game of the season, at noon on Sunday, February 9.
