Saquon Barkley & Jahan Dotson Win Super Bowl LIX With Philadelphia Eagles

Former Penn State football stars Saquon Barkley and Jahan Dotson won Super Bowl LIX with the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. Cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields is also a member of the Eagles’ practice squad.

The trio are the first Nittany Lions to win a Super Bowl since Grant Haley and Nick Scott won Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams.

Barkley finished the day with 57 rushing yards on 25 attempts and set the single-season rushing yard record including the playoffs. The running back added 40 yards through the air on six receptions.

Dotson finished the big game with 42 receiving yards on two receptions, including a near-touchdown in the first quarter.

Barkley and Dotson never played together at Penn State, as Barkley sported the blue and white from 2015 to 2017, and Dotson played in Beaver Stadium from 2018 to 2021. Castro-Fields played with both Barkley and Dotson and was in Happy Valley from 2017 to 2021.
