Penn State Baseball’s Paxton Kling Named Big Ten Player of the Week

Penn State baseball outfielder Paxton Kling was named Big Ten Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. This comes after he led Penn State to a three-game sweep against Longwood.
Kling went 7-for-13 (.538) at the plate with four home runs, a double, six RBI, and seven runs over the Nittany Lions’ three-game sweep. Kling also registered a 1.538 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage.
The Nittany Lions return to action for three games next weekend, with all games being played in Virginia. On Friday, the team faces Richmond at 1:30 p.m. before facing VCU on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. the next day.
Penn State finally concludes its weekend action by facing William & Mary on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.. All games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
