Penn State Men’s Volleyball Rises To No. 19 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State men’s volleyball has risen to No. 19 in the latest AVCA Poll, released Monday afternoon. The Nittany Lions bumped one spot from their previous No. 20 ranking.

Penn State is the highest-ranked team from the EIVA after NJIT dropped out of the poll altogether. This comes after Penn State beat Merrimack 3-1 in Rec Hall last Friday.

Additionally, Will Kuhns was named the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week after notching 11 digs and 15 kills.

After a rough start to the season, the Nittany Lions have gained momentum by winning five out of their last seven games. They return to action on Saturday, March 8, when they play Grand Canyon for the start of a two-game series on the road.
