Before suffering a season-ending injury last season, the wide receiver recorded 50 receptions for 576 yards and five touchdowns in his eighth season with the Buccaneers. This was Godwin’s second season-ending injury as he sustained an ACL and MCL tear late in the 2021 season.

Godwin played for the Nittany Lions from 2014 to 2016. During his time at Penn State, he recorded 2,421 receiving yards and 154 catches. In the process, he scored 18 touchdowns over his three seasons before being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
