Mac ‘N’ Cheese Festival To Make State College Debut April 27

Feeling cheesy?

For the first time ever, the Mac ‘n’ Cheese Festival is coming to State College, giving folks the chance to sample all kinds of twists on the classic comfort food.

The festival is set for noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center and will feature a lineup of local restaurants, wineries, craft breweries, and vendors. Restaurants and food trucks from all across Centre County will serve up their best mac ‘n’ cheese recipes, each putting their own spin on the ultimate cheesy bite.

Throughout the afternoon, vendors will compete in judged categories like “The Cheesiest,” “Most Original,” and “Most Like Moms.” Meanwhile, everyone who attends will have a chance to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” award, deciding which mac ‘n’ cheese stands out as the crowd favorite.

There will be live music, and attendees can take part in giveaways throughout the day.

Tickets are listed as $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12. They can be purchased online at statecollegemacandcheese.com. Vendors interested in joining the event can still get involved. To sign up, visit statecollegemacandcheese.com and fill out the form on the home page. Anyone with questions can call Seven Mountains Media at (814) 237-9800.
