Movin’ On Names Allie Riegel 2026 Executive Director

Allie Riegel has been named the 2026 executive director of Movin’ On, the organization announced Thursday. Riegel, who will be a senior in the 2025-26 academic year, will take over for Bridie Lawell.

Riegel is a public relations major and recreation, parks, and tourism management minor from Virginia. Riegel has previously served as a PROMO team member, PROMO team captain, and, most recently, director of operations for Movin’ On.

Riegel is an events and operations intern at the Bryce Jordan Center and serves as the director of relations for the Penn State music group.

As the director of operations, Riegel has helped complete a five-year sustainability plan that will take place starting in 2026. She also worked with hospitality and vendor coordination.

“Being the executive director of Movin’ On has been my goal since my freshman year on PROMO Team. I remember looking at the Executive Board and thinking, that is where I’m going to be. In all honesty, I’ve worked incredibly hard over the past few years to gain the experience, knowledge, and
confidence to lead this organization,” Riegel said in a statement.

“When Bridie told me I had been selected, it was one of the proudest moments of my life,” she added.

Riegel hopes to give back to the organization that has shaped a lot of her college experience.

Movin’ On 2025 is set to take place on Friday, May 2, at the IM Fields. It will feature sets from The All-American Projects, Pusha T, and Baby Tate, alongside the Student Programming Association’s sponsored act Claire Rosinkranz and Battle of the Bands winners Fez.
