Report: Tyler Warren May Have Received Call From Shedeur Sanders Pranksters

Shedeur Sanders wasn’t the only one with a leaked phone number during this year’s NFL Draft, it seems.

Former Penn State football tight end Tyler Warren was the victim of an NFL Draft prank call, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Warren’s camp thinks the call came from the same phone number that infamously pranked former Colorado quarterback Sanders on Friday.

Sanders also received his prank call when an unknown phone number dialed him while the New Orleans Saints were on the clock on Friday night. The individual identified themself as Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis and acted as if Sanders was heading to New Orleans to start his professional career.

Sanders was eventually selected with the No. 144 overall selection by the Cleveland Browns when they traded up in the fifth round to stop his draft slide.

Warren reportedly received a similar call from the same phone number while the New York Jets were on the clock at the No. 7 selection in the first round. The Jets ended up selecting Missouri tackle Armand Membou as their draft choice, while the Indianapolis Colts eventually selected Warren with the No. 14 overall selection.

Warren had a much easier draft process than Sanders, who plummeted from a first-round draft prospect to a third-day pickup by the Browns. Warren’s timing wasn’t perfect on Thursday, but it was a whole lot better than Sanders’.
