Penn State and Borough Of State College Partner Up For LION Bash 2025

The Borough of State College and Penn State University are joining forces once again this year to host the Living In One Neighborhood (LION) Bash. The block party-style event will take place in downtown State College on Thursday, September 4, shortly after students return to campus for the fall semester.

The celebration will span three blocks of South Allen Street and run from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. It is free to attend for all members of the State College community.

LION Bash provides an opportunity for people from across the borough to come together and enjoy a night of live music, entertainment, food vendors, and a chance to learn more about the city they call home. Engagement stations will be set up across the three blocks with chances to win prizes, play games, or receive information upon visiting.

Local organizations can register to host one of these engagement stations during the event here, and more information can be found on the State College website.
