Penn State Men’s Hockey Announces Big Ten Schedule

Just over a month before the most highly anticipated season in the history of Penn State men’s hockey, the entire regular season schedule has been revealed. A month after it revealed their non-conference slate in March, it’s Big Ten schedule was revealed on Friday, via social media.

The Nittany Lions will open conference play on the road in a rematch of last year’s Big Ten Semifinals in Columbus against Ohio State. They then travel to East Lansing to face Michigan State the following week before their Big Ten home opener on November 14 against Michigan. After a road trip to Minnesota, the team doesn’t face another Big Ten opponent until they host Minnesota and Notre Dame in back-to-back weeks in January.

They visit Wisconsin on January 23-24, Michigan on February 13-14, and Notre Dame on February 27-28. Their final series of the season will be at home against Wisconsin on March 5-6. Of their six home Big Ten series, only one of them (January 9-10 vs Minnesota) figures to not be included in student season tickets.

Penn State men’s hockey opens its 2025-26 season on Friday, October 3, at 9:00 p.m. against Arizona State at Mullett Arena in Tempe. The following week, it returns to Pegula Ice Arena for the first time since last March, hosting Clarkson in a two-game series beginning on Thursday, October 9, at a time and network to be determined.
