Penn State Athletics Announces ‘Fast Pass’ Student Entry Option To Enter Beaver Stadium

Penn State Athletics announced a new “Fast Pass” student entry option to Beaver Stadium in an email sent to students on Thursday beginning with week two’s matchup against FIU.

Student section wristbands will be available for pick up from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, September 4, at Gate A. The new “Fast Pass” entries will be clearly marked and located on the far right side of Gate A. There will be four lanes for the new “Fast Pass” system, and students are still required to scan their ticket on gameday.

Lost wristbands cannot be replaced, and students who lose their wristband will not be able to enter Beaver Stadium on game day. Students looking to sit together for the game are recommended to pick up their wristbands at the same time.

The move comes after a colossal wreck of a student section entrance in Penn State’s opener against Nevada. Some students couldn’t enter the game at all due to Gate A’s extremely long wait times despite cushy enough gate arrivals compared to previous seasons. Students pushed and shoved with no real line formations as well, raising security questions.
