Penn State Football Holds Steady At No. 2 In Week Three AP Poll

Penn State football remained at No. 2 in the latest AP Poll, the Associated Press announced Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions’ ranking comes after their 34-0 shutout win over FIU on Saturday.

While most folks expected Penn State to blow out FIU by a wider margin, AP voters see no cause for concern just yet as the Nittany Lions slot in at No. 2 for the third consecutive week. Other Big Ten teams in the top 25 include No. 1 Ohio State, No. 4 Oregon, No. 9 Illinois, No. 22 Indiana, and No. 23 Michigan.

Penn State closes out its non-conference slate by taking on Villanova at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at Beaver Stadium. Folks can watch the game on FS1.
